Faience with black dots. Height 5,5 cm.
The goddess of motherhood with hippopotamus head is capped with a triple crown composed of two straight falcon feathers, two cow-shaped horns encircling the solar disk. Her body is tattooed with black dots.
3rd Intermediate Period, 1070-711 B.C. Egypt.
Rare. Little lack at the base. With stand.
From Zagazig, north of ancient Bubastis in the Nile Delta and the Khawam collection of the 1950s.
